Thanks David - i'm having terrible trouble staying focussed - its easy to get carried away and the core of the next pony team arrive on the yard rather than the ancient schoolmaster i'm supposed to be looking for! |

Sorry G - had an offer of a 25 year old which would have been a great confidence booster in terms of not reacting to any child stimuli!! But after watching video of young child flapping legs for England for what seemed an age and still remaining at walk I felt it would be a source of frustration within a couple of months. We have found a cracking little pony that goes when asked and stops as quickly, stands nicely and has nice paces and copes with children dogs and the rest and is driving nicely too. Denise has fallen for him and will be driving this summer - so pony has cost a fortune what with carriage, harness and the riding tack! Will let you know if I hear of anything. |

Does anyone have or know of a small (12HH or less) first pony for my 2 granddaughters one a forward 2+ the other 4+. Needs to be safe round children for them to get confidence grooming handling etc. Hopefully be able to potter round enclosed yard at walk and trot without having to have an adult with carrot and stick! Preferably gelding, any age other than too young. Purchase (not too pricey!) or loan. Good home guaranteed. Area/distance not a problem within reason for right pony. Not urgent but ideally in next 3 months. |
