That display is the proverbial bee's knees! The purpose of the display is to show how exciting our wonderful sport is. And it does that.

Sorry to disappoint you Martyn, but the bottom row features a photo I took at a non-British event - Saumur in France! A wonderful event where the locals were very welcoming to foreign nationals.

I am concerned that anyone can have such a 'them and us' attitude towards those competitors who do not represent Britain. It seems unnecessarily confrontational and divisive.

Our sport bridged the Iron Curtain in the 70s and 80s in a spirit of friendship, I'm sure we can get over the odd photo of British residents who compete under a different flag.

Moreover, I have been very pleased to see non-British competitors and officials come over to the UK for events at Ashfields, Royal Windsor and Sandringham. It can only improve standards in British carriage driving and, frankly, makes events that little bit more interesting.

I do hope barmy comments don't put them off returning for more events.

Thank you Janet and all at OPG for making such a good display and I'm very pleased they found a slot for one of my photos too!

The new display stand looks great and is very eye catching. Does it matter which drivers are featured on there? Anyone who is new to the sport would have no idea which Nationality each driver was and I would hazard a guess that they probably couldn't care less either!!!!
I also couldn't care less if two of those drivers featured are not British. To be honest I hadn't even noticed. It's eye catching, a great talking point and was designed and donated by two very supportive BC members who are only trying to support and promote our sport. To openly criticise the work of OPG who sponsor events and obstacles throughout the season and have given all of this work FOC is, in my eyes inexcusable. Let's hope we haven't lost another valuable sponsor.......

I think it is a fabulous display and shows all comers what actually goes on in British carriage driving. Well done and thank you to Owen and Janet for giving a real, high quality view of our sport.

As anyone involved in publicity or marketing (both thankless tasks) will know, it's not about preaching to the already converted; no one could look at that poster and not think "Wow! That looks like great fun!" Rosie and Tony Mould are the perfect icon for sport. They've come up through club to National from the absolute grass roots of driving - and I can't think of anyone more BRITISH! (And I say this in the fervent hope that Rosie will not ring me to say she was born in France!)

I didn't say I don't like it I really do and the work of Owen and Janet at OPG on the rebranding is excellent and very much appreciated. It is a great tool for promoting BRITISH Carriagedriving.

I think it looks fab Janet- I know how hard it is to find a high enough resolution to go onto a t-shirt, let alone something that size! Patti- Flash has to be one of the most photogenic ponies in driving ;)

Martin - Barry Capstick competes at EVERY British event and the grey team was at Royal Windsor - our top British event. This screen was refurbished in four days so we had to use the best high resolution photographs we had to hand. We also wanted to show a range of turnouts from singles to teams and as many phases as possible while making it exciting looking.
I'm sorry you don't like it. Oh - by the way, we did it all for free. A positive comment would have meant so much.
No wonder we can't get sponsors in this sport! !

Below is a snap shot of the new British Carriagedriving promotional display stand being used in the supporters tent. Should we not be promoting the best of British Carriagedriving and NOT include images of FOREIGN teams and horses (Top left, Bottom right.
