That's a good point Carole but why not write to the organisers and ask for a carriage driving demo - and encourage others to do the same. Then a display could be advertised as being 'By popular demand'!! That's not to say the BHDTA Marketing Committee won't do anything about it, I am sure James will seize the opportunity with both hands. |

I've just received an email offering tickets to Your Horse Live at Stoneleigh Park on Nov 10th & 11th. We have been attending this annual event for many years now. Each year, the number of Demonstrations and Clinics seems to increase. How come The Driving Fraternity haven't latched on to this yet? This would be a fantastic place to put Driving across- it is usually packed to the rafters with horsey folk- many of whom seem to have a burning need to spend some money on their horse!!!! Recession or not!!! A demo from one or two of our top horse & pony drivers- maybe with an Obstacle set up in the arena would go down a storm I'm sure! It would certainly get poeple talking about Driving! Next year maybe??? |
