This is great - there are lots more videos from the 2012 indoor finals on Youtube... Great if you want to show the variety of turnouts we get, too. Jack Thorne http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYKbyaaEST8 Julie Wedgbury http://youtu.be/jCHQGpfX4as Nicola Blandin http://youtu.be/KITv0jeJJus |

Patti that's a brilliant clip - good fast fun with family ponies! I know Cavewood have done some amazing short clips like this and it's got me wondering why we don't have (links to) them on the front page of our website somewhere? |

Chris, you said you need some help with your horses/driving. Why don't you advertise in your local tack shop/newsagents etc where you might prick the interest of a non driving but horsey person? You might kill two birds with one stone and introduce a new person into the sport. Just a thought......... |

With regards to the bit about people not knowing where to start, I would love some help with my horses and would gladly trade with some lessons and driving experience. But where do you start |

Remember... I said might!! :D As an off shoot from a few things mentioned on here, I put a post up on H and H forum, just being nosy This is the response so far. http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=571266 Also on H and H at the moment- http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=571379 And this reflects some of the comments I get when I'm driving- http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=571223 Just three threads on a general horsey forum, there are people talking about driving, and seems to be a few interested in the idea, but the same things crop up, access to be able to drive somewhere safe and off road, somewhere to try it out and a bit of a lack of understanding about what it is that we actually do! |
