Correct Wendy, Boyd has been on recently, and I was on there last year talking about driving trials and scurry, but it's a great idea to try for a junior to get some brilliant free publicity for our sport. I just completed an online form on the Radio 2 website and they called me. |

Boyd Exell has already been on this feature and I am pretty sure that scurry driving has been covered too. Maybe one of the Young Drivers would be successful...... |

I don't know enough to consider myself suitable....there must be someone out there who can quote statistics and make a good presentation?! You need to Google 'BBC Radio 2 Drivetime' go to Friday's show & complete the application form. |

Great idea! Over to you, Jan! (If you publish the number to phone, perhaps a number of carriage drivers would give it a go, too?) |

I think I'm right in saying that I heard Radio 2 'Drive Time' tonight asking people to ring in to take part in a special programme called 'Friday Fixture' when air time will be given this coming Friday to individuals wishing to promote and chat about their sport - lesser-known sports apparently (in the light of Squash being considered as an Olympic sport?).....should someone 'get on in there' in lieu of this free airtime publicity??? |
