Thank you, Christopher! I thought our stewards and helpers this year were fantastic and the air cadets soon gained timing skills and joined in enthusiastically. We were pleased that the "EACDG camp" worked well - we asked for a separate area because most of our members arrive on Friday and Saturday and used to have difficulty finding sites for parking and, as club drivers tend to share, they needed to park together. I think everyone was happy with the arrangement in the end. This was the first year we allowed our pre-novice drivers to come: we have a very keen group of them this year. They only did section E of the marathon but all of us did obstacles 1-6 up to F gate without any untoward incidents. Hooray! And thank you to the national event organisers for enabling us to be there - lots of us are aiming to do nationals - one day - and this was a superb opportunity to get the flavour. Our next East Anglian event is 2-3 August at Blandings Farm, near Newmarket, with novice qualifier classes. All are welcome! |

Thanks to all organisers, officials, helpers, stewards and air cadets who did such a good job at the EACDG event. |
