Cones day: Margaret Lupton won the Grade I cones, the only person in the whole competition not to knock a ball off! The others fared not so well. The Dutch won both team and individual gold. I'm sure someone will write a report of the whole event in much greater detail and I presume that courtesy of Fairview Studios there will be DVD out at some point. Everyone travelling home tomorrow, so here's hoping for good weather and calm seas! Well done to all. |

Marathon day today - cold and drizzly apparently. With the loss of Lindsey's score (her pony put his foot through a feed bowl and lamed himself) Judi Ralls and Margaret Lupton are now competing as individuals. Jackie will update me as the day goes on and I will post again tonight. |

As far as I know, there's no on-line news, but my friend Jackie Herd and her partner Tim from Fairview Studios have gone with the team to film the event and they have been sending me text messages. I hear that we are currently in fourth place. Lindsey Tyas did a good dressage to be placed 5th individually, but unfortunately her pony went lame, she had to withdraw and so they lost her score. I will add any further snippets of news I hear. |
