I’ve received a warning from the moderator of another horse forum about sellers who take money and do not send the goods. We’ve not heard of anything like this happening through our forum, perhaps because many of the people are known, hdt a small world. However, this is to warn all buyers and sellers to take care especially if dealing with someone you don’t know. Most people are honest, but … In any doubt, use a safe method of payment (e.g. cash when you’ve checked and received the goods – and get a receipt). For distance payments, Paypal gives you some protection – nothing’s 100%. Sellers – if you send goods, keep a proof of sending. For Sale and Wanted on this site is just a bulletin board – we don’t have any way to guarantee any aspect of the sale or police any sales – please take care and it will stay useful, free and 100% reputable.
