13.2hh ride and drive, liver chestnut 17 yr old gelding. 2nd pony to ride, easy forward going drive. Sam is 100% to handle, box, shoe, catch and in traffic. He is a typical Sec B in that he can be a little tense when ridden but adores hacking (and is always snaffle mouthed) both ridden and driven. Unfortunately he is too sharp for my novice 12 yr old daughter and we don't have room for a pony for her until we have found Sam a new home. He would like a non competitive home where he will happily live out (rugged and with shelter). He can be a little stiff behind but has been checked last week by our vet who confirms that "he would do a great job for someone". He will happily be groomed for hours by tiny tots and he adores attention. Never grumpy he is such a character and if we had enough stables and grazing he would not be going anywhere. He is not ready to retire yet! 07769154407 |
