Go Yellow The National Hospice Awareness Campaign which is promoted throughout Hospices in the UK to raise vital funds for local Hospices such as our local Hospice Nightingale House in Wrexham. In 2011 it will cost Nightingale House £4.46 million to run the hospice, this equates to £6,700 per day. As a BDS area we would like to raise a minimum of £170.00 which will help to pay towards a patients meals for one day, a 'Release' child bereavement session and sponsor a nurse for a day shift and if we could raise an additional £500.00 this would help to run the hospice ambulance for a month. All we are asking everyone who wishes to participate is come dressed in Yellow that means the ponies, carriages, people etc The cost of the event is £12.00 per turnout of which we will be donating £10.00 or if any one would like to support by sending a donation Further information www.northeastwales.britishdrivingsociety.co.uk |
