I've uploaded a few clips to youtube, not great standard and occasionally my mind wandered but hey, I watched them! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blzduywtiHw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=790AB_T-nnQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEvs8SsE9_g |

Yes, it was exciting to see the results posted so quickly for those of us "at home". I know it's extra effort but it's worth it to promote the sport. Thank you! |

Well done Erddig. The event was well planned, well run and well received. We've come back with a fist full of rosettes, not just one, and we're looking forward to next year. We even had passes to Erddig house and spent a pleasent hour or so admiring the place inside and out, along with a huge amount of other competitors and helpers! Thank you to those organising, we had a ball. But i'm looking forward to my bed after the neighbour's firework display last night.... |

This is great use of the Internet. At Brighton we attempted to do this BUT a internet connection was not available and the venue is less than wireless friendly. If the venue suffers from the above ailments the organisers have not got the chance of using this web service that give the results so quickly. So when the results are not up when the event finishes please remember these two points before anyone gives the organisers earache. Most organisers will capture the moon if it makes the event more enjoyable but sadly not everything the competitors wish for is possible. |

The challenge is now for every event to do this. Well done Zoe. |

I think the credit for this should go to Zoe Ross, who is the scorer at Erddig and who is using the scoring comnputer's facility to send results to the web pages, which we have specially set up for this. I'm glad people are finding this useful and we hope to be able to implement it at more events in the future. Vic BHDTA website |
