It is with regret that we are canceling this event for a number of reasons. We have a few less entries than needed and would run at a loss. Further to this substantial irrigation work is occurring and the estate cannot confirm our routes until Wednesday before the event leaving very little time to re-plan and measure the course etc. We are likely loose at least one of the six obstacles and our Safety Officer advises that irrigation pipes will make the H & S assessments a problem too. We had already had site visits to clear repair and mark the gates for flagging and worked the course so have put a fair bit of time and work in and are very disappointed to have to do this and apologise for inconvenience and plans spoiled for competitors and also very much for our loyal stewards judges and helpers who are equally put out.
