My thanks also to all the vehicles that were prepared to wait patiently while we organised a different route out for the smaller vehicles, and special thanks to Peter Harwood from Low Close Farm who allowed the vehicles through his farmyard. Also to all the volunteers who appeared from nowhere to ensue no one went down through the showground. (The Show Director would have had my guts for garters if any lorries had appeared on the showground!) It became a very big team effort from the Stable Manager/Driving Office personnel and other people who saw a need and helped out. As usual we enjoyed huge co-operation from the competitors in spite of the fact that we were all at the end of a very long and tiring few days, and desperate to head home. Thank you - I really appreciated everyone's good humour, Eileen |

My apologies for holding many people up when trying to leave Lowther show ground. The air line broke on my horsebox in the worst possible place(right in the exit gate)Thank you for your patience and the help .Word of advice. If you are going to breakdown make sure you block off the exit with the Basset wagon behind you. They were fantastic in getting me back on the road. Many thanks Mark and Karen etc. |
