Well done to Angela and James. It seems crazy to have a 'National Championships' where some classes are not championship classes. I understand that this event can clash with World championship events but surely the competitor makes the choice. If BC has a national champs then that is what it should be and ALL classes should be championship classes. If competitors choose to have their championships at an alternative event then those classes should be omitted from the Nat champs, it would save the confusion. |

Hi Erica. Way back at Convention in October 2014 it was decided that the National Championships for the Adv H Pairs would be at Raehills as Cirencester clashed with the World Championships. The same happened to the Single Horses in 2014 and our National Champs was at Lowther. The fact that only 1 competitor attended Raehills was the individual competitors decision. Their loss as Raehills was a brilliant competition. |

So James Broome is not a National Champion although he won the Advanced Horse Pairs at the National Championship at Cirencester last weekend! Apparently the title was taken a few weeks ago at Raehills in Scotland by the only person in the class! Why? |
