This is a very sad sale of my beautiful 14.2hh 11year old gelding. Normally ridden in a snaffle, these photos show the time period that he was being introduced to a pelham ready for showing. Fred is broken to both ride and drive (will drive as a single or pair) and has previously been driven commercially for weddings so is used to all kinds of sites and sounds. Very experienced driving pony. Never gets silly or fizzy - can be ridden by a confident novice. I have jumped him over coloured and natural fences, hacked him alone and in company, schooled him and taken him out on the lorry to our local County Show. He loads like a dream and after travelling quietly to the county show, he tied to the lorry all day with out spooking or pulling. He went into two big ridden classes and was placed 3rd with excellent comments from the judges on both his confirmation and manners. Fred would suit someone wanting their first or second 14.2hh pony, he will give somebody so much pleasure. A 5* home is sought for this special boy who is 100% to catch, load, clip, stable, bath, traffic etc. Has always lived on farms (dairy then arable) so used to all manner of machinery. £3000. Sold with small wardrobe (excluding saddle). I am open to offers that reflect the current market but NO LOANS. Trial facilities available at current home. |
