Well I'm thinking pony 550, carriage 150, 2 x people 160, leaving about 200 for other stuff. If necessary I could upgrade to 4-6 t as am old enough to have the licence but I'm afraid the rules might change again. I have had a 7.5 in the past when the kids were young. |

Gillian, your starting point should be to weigh everything you want to transport in your 3.5tonne lorry. You might find it a challenge to carry a large pony and a carriage. I'm thinking 3.5tonne is the gross vehicle weight? |

I wonder if anyone would care to share info or better still pictures of their 3.5 t box to carry large pony and 4 wheeler please? What configuration do you have inside and is it a long wheelbase vehicle? Getting ideas together to have one converted. If you would rather contact me on email please use gillian@westgatelabs.co.uk Thank you very much. |
